Double post comin’ at ya.
We had so much fun this weekend that I had enough to write two posts!
Sunday fun-day was one for the books.
Once we got home from Idaho City, we headed to Wahooz Family Fun Zone. Okay, I know what you are thinking… what is a 25 and 27 year old doing at a family fun center.
Bryant plays on a men’s league softball team here in Boise, and I regrettably said something about a co-ed softball team, and well yeah know I’m on a co-ed softball team. I haven’t played fast pitch since I was in elementary school, maybe middle school so I needed to hit the batting cages.
At Wahooz they have outdoor batting cages where you buy a $3 token that gets you 24 pitches. Not a bad deal.
I forgot how much fun it was getting in a batting cage. And you know what, I actually wasn’t that rusty after all! We hit a few rounds before playing two rounds of putt putt golf. First round, Bry won. Second round, I kicked his ass (sorry mom).
The sun was shining, it was a beautiful day, and we had so much fun being kids again. We laughed and had a great time. We will definitely be going back!
Once we worked up an appetite, we headed to the store to grab some ingredients for home made sushi! It has been something we have wanted to do for a long time, and finally decided to make the time to do it.
It’s pretty simple and straight forward to make, and let me tell ya… it was so good!
If you are interested in knowing what ingredients we used, comment below!
Thanks for hanging out with me today and reading along.
